Waking up with wings in unknown barrier-surrounded nature, finding one of your children playing in the fountain perfectly at ease and getting the majority of your information from her. Very fast-paced, quite nonsensical seeming information at that.

Luceti, thus far, could not make any less sense. This probably shows on his face. Which, depending on Luceti citizens' art recognition skills, may be somewhat familiar. The odds are... what they are.

I've found Ikki- [ If the featured airbending child securely latched onto his neck is anything to go by, of course. And the 'please' after that "same applies to you" is implied, all right. ] I would like to make sure everyone else is all right, and hear about what's happened.

[ You know, to see which elements corroborate with what he heard of Ikki's experiences. Especially regarding who she's been staying with. Which he'll be seeing for himself in person later, of course, once his daughter goes through with all plans to march him to Avatar House like a new pet. So there's that much. ]

So you've gotten some idea of what this place is like. Honestly, things can get really horrible here. It was really bad just a few weeks before all of you started showing up. But at least things are kinda peaceful for right now.

It's something to be grateful for. If things take a bad turn, we'd do better to face it together. [ At the very least, he'll take bad turns here over not being aware that his children are even gone. ]

Yeah. [Hearing Tenzin say it makes him feel... safe, somehow. It probably helps that it's coming from an older Airbender. Aang smiles.] Like... l-like a family. [A thoughtful pause] We're gonna need to make room for you at the house.

[ Okay, a smile for that because yes, like a family. That's one thing he'll hardly deny, topsy-turvy time periods or not.

It... might be for the best if I take up somewhere else. [ Tenzin is not in for walking in on canoodling or awkwardly living around family who technically are not his family yet. No, that wouldn't be likely to be comfortable for most of them. ] Somewhere nearby, of course.

[ Since he will a) hardly take for granted whatever chances he has of getting to spend time with his someday-father in this place and b) not make the mistake of being too far away from a house full of youngsters who may wind up needing help someday. That would be inviting more trouble. ]

[He nods in realization, keeping the smile on while feeling a little disappointed inside. But it makes sense when he thinks about it. Aang would have to sleep on the couch and leave Tenzin awkwardly bunking with Roku. And less people in the house would mean less stress, especially for Katara and especially if...]

I understand. And... your daughters, too?

[But it wouldn't be so bad. Aang could recall a few empty houses within a reasonable range. Maybe he'd even live with Korra and Asami.]

But... he'll briefly drop a hand onto Aang's shoulder. The majority of the airbenders being somewhere else, at that age- and being his own family to boot. Might feel bad, yes. He doesn't look upset, but Tenzin doesn't want it to seem like it's a decision made for running away (even if he probably is, just a little bit). ] Consider the door always open.

[It'd be sad not having the girls around the house anymore. But it would also be lifting a burden. This is what was right. And Tenzin's hand on his shoulder gave him comfort, along with warm flashbacks of monks tending to him whenever he was hurt or sad when he was young.]

Thank you, Tenzin. I... I'd still like to continue training with them, too, if that's okay. And... you can join us, too! [That "like a family" phrase was still ringing through his head.]

Of course. [ Aang is, after all, the authority on Airbending mastery. That his daughters get to get to know their grandfather is a bonus on top of getting a teacher who can relate to their energy levels more easily. ] Who knows? You may have more success in teaching Korra the finer points of Airbending as well.

[ He certainly benefited from his father's teaching methods. Being another Avatar can only be helpful. ]

I really hope so. I know that she'll learn in her future, but... maybe we can help her to learn it here earlier. [Pause] It does feel real good to teach Airbending.
